Orientations is a journal of East Asian Studies run by students in McGill’s EAS department.

“The aim of this journal is to offer students a forum outside of the classroom in which they can have their work published. Submissions should engage with, although are not limited to, East Asian culture, history, society, media, art, politics, and the list goes on. While student submissions can take the form of academic papers, students are encouraged to explore different media and be creative in their presentation. This could take the form of photo essays, journalistic submissions, or personal reflections.”
